Reports To General Manager - Latin America Job Purpose Creation of high quality fragrances with creative vision and expectations from customers. Provide high value fragrance creations with creative vision and finesse. Liaise with General Manager, Perfumery Director, Senior Management and other divisions to collaborate and contribute to the strategic vision and ongoing projects. Tasks and Responsibilities - Create winning and highly commercial fragrances that match client briefs and expectations - Bringing creativity and high-value fragrance creations combined with solid technical knowledge - Provide sound technical expertise to meet customer and industry regulations, with performance and stability in the end-use application - Modify fragrances to suit a range of end products, prices and regulations. - Provide proactive creations for events and client meetings, as well as create a fragrance library. - Develop fragrances leveraging CPL technologies to achieve profitable business growth and lasting commercial success - Apply knowledge of GCMS techniques in creative development. - Organize and attend supplier presentations with the aim of updating and strengthening the portfolio of ingredients for CPL Perfumery - Provide competent creative support during client visits and presentations - Contribute to the success and environment of the team with a passionate and enthusiastic approach, bringing contribution and insight to the strategic vision. - Work closely with other perfumers, creative, evaluation, marketing, sales and application team - Participate in fragrance and raw material evaluation panels - Participate in resolving quality control issues as needed - Support the training of perfumery staff as needed - Work with specific accounts, clients and countries to develop deep market knowledge and intimate client relationships - Attend client briefings and presentations as needed to discuss and present the creation of selected fragrances. - And other additional and/or complementary functions that are assigned by the nature of the position and in compliance with the employment contract. Skills And Attributes Required Qualification Higher education in chemistry, chemical engineering or similar, professional degree desirable. Experience Minimum of 5 years in perfumer roles or in the creative area of the fragrance sector Skills And Knowledge Technical knowledge of the fragrance industry Able to create and design fragrances around strategic ingredients Fluent in English Teamwork Presentation skills: ability to explain a strategy and the creative process of fragrances. #J-18808-Ljbffr
