Senior Paralegal Position We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Paralegal to join our litigation team in Colombia. As a key member of the U.S. legal team, you will work directly on high-stakes cases with significant impact from Latin America. Key Responsibilities: - Draft and respond to discovery requests with minimal supervision. - Prepare motions, supporting documents, and court filings in California courts. - Collaborate on trial preparation, including exhibits, witness lists, and timelines. - Organize and manage case files, deadlines, and calendars. - Conduct case-related legal and factual research. - Communicate effectively with clients in English via email and occasional Zoom or phone calls. - Work closely with U.S.-based attorneys on active litigation files. Requirements: - At least 5 years of experience as a paralegal in litigation. - Minimum 2 years of experience working with a California law firm, preferably with PI experience. - Fluent English speaker with professional-level writing skills. - Strong knowledge of California civil procedure, discovery, and motion practice. - Proficiency with legal software tools (Clio, MyCase, Filevine, etc.) and Microsoft Office. - Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred. Candidates should have excellent organizational and time management skills, as well as strong attention to detail.
