Job Title: Sales Manager Job Description The Sales Manager oversees the management of teams supporting accounts to drive revenue and business growth. Responsibilities include leading sales teams, managing customer success motions (onboarding, adoption, health checks, voice of the customer), and revenue retention motions (contract renewals, extensions, upsell, expansion). The role involves managing and developing strategic client relationships in collaboration with the Sales Director and external clients. Key Responsibilities: Build, motivate, and mentor a high-performing inside sales team, typically of 10+ employees. Lead by example; coach team members through call coaching, demos, and experience sessions via Teams. Ensure team meets or exceeds monthly, quarterly, and annual targets. Conduct regular coaching sessions, document outcomes, and plan next steps. Manage risk assessment and develop performance improvement plans. Drive operational excellence in metrics such as lead generation, conversion rate, pipeline, and accuracy. Facilitate career development discussions and create individual development plans. Assess team capabilities and build talent pipelines as needed. Spend time coaching and observing team performance, focusing on operational metrics and customer trust. Remove productivity blockers to empower teams to focus more on customer interactions. Design and set realistic productivity and sales targets aligned with market trends. Collaborate with Quality Coaches and Readiness Managers to improve performance. Qualifications: 5+ years in technology sales or business development. 3+ years of team management experience, including at least 2 years in sales management within the IT industry, leading teams of 8+ members. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Proven leadership ability to motivate high performers and improve underperformers. Experience engaging with C-level executives and decision makers. Knowledge of IT industry trends, cloud technologies, and sales tools like Dynamics or Salesforce. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools. Fluency in English and Spanish. Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree required.
