General Summary As a Family Dollar Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers. Key responsibilities include greeting customers, assisting with merchandise selection, completing transactions, and answering questions about the store and merchandise. Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Engage with customers in a positive and approachable manner. Maintain a clean, well-stocked store for shoppers. Assist in unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transporting items from the stockroom to the sales floor. Stock shelves and recover merchandise independently. Handle customer funds accurately and process transactions via the POS system. Monitor customer activity to ensure a safe shopping environment. Perform other duties as assigned to support store operations. Position Requirements: Education: Preferably high school diploma or equivalent. Ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents. Experience: Prefer experience in retail, hospitality, food service, grocery, or pharmacy environments. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly (occasionally up to 55 lbs.), and perform tasks involving walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without accommodation. Availability: Able to work flexible full-time hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
