Job Description We seek an experiencedInstrumentation Engineer specializing in instrumentation for gasplants, NGL fractionation, refineries, petrochemicals, pipelines,and distribution facilities. The role is within the ProcessAutomation and Systems Division of the Process & ControlSystems Department. The department provides process engineering,automation, new energy, and digitalization services across Aramco.As an Instrumentation Engineer, your main responsibilities includedesigning, developing, installing, and troubleshootinginstrumentation systems. You will collaborate with operations,engineering, facility planning, and project teams, and participatein safety, innovation, operational excellence, andknowledge-sharing initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Support allinstrumentation types such as level, temperature, pressure, controlvalves, emergency isolation valves, motor-operated valves, reliefvalves, flow measurement, and level gauges. - Conduct engineeringstudies to optimize solutions, enhance safety, and improve processperformance. - Lead or collaborate with teams investigatingincidents or technical issues, and undertake special assignmentswith discretion. - Develop and maintain standards, specifications,procedures, and best practices aligned with industry codes andstandards. - Evaluate vendors and contractors for technicalcapability, acting as a company representative in dealings withexternal organizations. - Perform technical evaluations ofquotations and participate in bid evaluations. - Research andimplement best practices and new technologies to achieveindustry-leading performance. - Conduct cost analyses and valueengineering to recommend cost-effective solutions. MinimumRequirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Instrumentation,Mechanical, or Electrical). A Master’s or PhD is preferred but notmandatory. - At least 20 years of professional experience in atechnical engineering role, preferably with a major Oil & Gascompany or instrumentation suppliers. - Experience in plantinstrumentation sizing and selection (control valves, reliefvalves, actuators, basic process measurements). - Certificationssuch as ISA-CAP, CFSP, TUV FSEng, PE, or Chartered Engineer licenseare desirable. - Knowledge of H2S, LEL, pH, conductivity, and gasdetection analyzers is preferred. - Proficiency with internationalindustry standards (API, ISO, ASME, IEC, ISA, IEEE, etc.). -Leadership experience in HAZOP, SIL, P&ID;, and reviewprocesses. - Understanding of control systems, fieldinstrumentation, and communication protocols like DNP3, Modbus,FieldBus, TCP, IEC, SPA, RP570, ANSI. - Active membership inprofessional societies such as ISA or IEEE for at least 3 years.#J-18808-Ljbffr
