Sales Development Manager - Bogota Leisure business development is a vital aspect of our company's strategy. As a Sales Development Manager, you will be responsible for increasing sales for our hotels globally through influencing and motivating targeted travel bookers. The role will comprise business development across various wholesalers and luxury travel agencies in Colombia, Peru, Chile, and Ecuador. Key responsibilities include managing agency relationships, building wholesale partnerships, optimizing interactions, engaging front-line advisors, delivering sales materials, prioritizing agencies, formulating sales strategies, customizing presentations, reviewing data with agencies, organizing events, maximizing advisor engagement, attending meetings, updating Salesforce, building internal relationships, and hosting engagement events. Administrative Responsibilities: - Manage calendar to ensure accuracy and regular updates. - Utilize tools such as Salesforce and MicroStrategy to record, track, and measure performance against objectives. - Submit expense forms weekly. Skills and Competencies: - 3-5 years of related experience in the hospitality or travel industry in sales roles. - Experience with travel agencies and wholesalers required. - Event planning experience is a plus. - Professional appearance and manner. - Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and committed. - Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. - Competent at developing business relationships at all levels. - Good presentation skills. - Strong selling skills. - Effective analytical skills. - Strong administration and organizational skills. - Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint, Teams, WebEx, and Zoom. - Experience in Salesforce a plus. - Flexible approach to working hours and willingness to undertake additional hours and perform other ad-hoc duties.
