System Administrator L1 QKLK - TS/SCI Poly required Columbia, MD · Information Technology The Level 1 System Administrator will be responsible for providing Linux/Windows System Administration and SSP/Security support for the program. Required skills: Linux (Red Hat/Rocky, CentOS), Latte ‘Art / SSP, STE/STN support. Desired skills: Ansible, FreeIPA, RedHat KVM, NetApp support, Windows SA experience, JIRA, Confluence, scripting (Bash, Python, Perl, JSON, etc). The Level 1 System Administrator (SA) manages IT system infrastructure and related processes. Responsibilities include supporting dispatch systems and hardware issues, configuring and managing UNIX and Windows operating systems, troubleshooting, maintaining system integrity, and implementing enhancements for reliability and performance. The SA shall possess the following capabilities: Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems. Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution. Manage daily activities related to configuration and operation of IT systems. Assist users in accessing and utilizing IT systems. Support escalation procedures and communicate status updates to management and internal customers. Optimize system operations, resource utilization, and perform capacity analysis and planning. Minimum Requirements: Five (5) years of experience in System Administration support and a Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline. An additional five (5) years of SA experience may substitute for a degree. Certification: IAT level II baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M is required.
