Job Description For the 2025 season, we are hiring a Chef de Rang. Reporting to the maître, the selected candidate will be responsible for a specific station in the restaurant. Key responsibilities include: Ensuring proper set-up and aesthetic arrangement of the dining room and tables. Welcoming guests, guiding them to tables, presenting menus and wine lists, and managing table service. Maintaining your station according to standards at all times. Developing comprehensive knowledge of menus. Coordinating and supervising assigned commis waiters. Working collaboratively across departments to ensure timely service and smooth operations. Participating in training sessions to enhance professional skills and guest satisfaction. Qualifications Graduation in tourism or hospitality management. Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role within luxury hotels or high-end restaurants. Knowledge of mise en place techniques for à la carte and banqueting services. Fluent in Italian and English; additional languages are a plus. Positive personality with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail. Excellent interpersonal skills, proactive in anticipating guest needs, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
