Fòs Feminista is as an intersectional feminist organization centered around the sexual and reproductive rights and needs of women, girls, and gender-diverse people. Led and governed by the Global South, Fòs Feminista works as an alliance of organizations in 40+ countries worldwide to advance sexual and reproductive health, rights, and justice. As the connecting fabric of this alliance, Fòs Feminista orchestrates transnational and transregional action, amplifies partners’ work, and promotes South-South learning and collaboration toward achieving common objectives. Together with our partners, we provide access to sexual and reproductive health care, including contraception, abortion, and care for victims of gender-based violence, and we reach young people with comprehensive sexuality education. We recognize that the ability of women, girls, and gender-diverse people to make free and informed choices about sexual and reproductive lives, including to access safe and legal abortion, is central to their life plans and to achieving gender and reproductive justice. As such, we are at the forefront of advocating for sexual and reproductive health and rights from an intersectional lens in national, regional, and global spaces, coordinating with our partners to ensure that diverse experiences, priorities, and voices of the Global South are represented in these spaces. **Position Summary** The Director of Philanthropy and Strategic Partnerships will be a senior member of the Resource Development and Digital Communications Unit, which leads the implementation of a fundraising and digital communications strategy that aligns with our intersectional feminist vision and works cross-functionally to increase fundraising opportunities for Fòs Feminista. The Director of Philanthropy and Strategic Partnerships will play a key role in shaping the articulation of a feminist fundraising strategy that aligns with our organizational vision and new brand identity that significantly expands fundraising revenue from Fòs Feminista’s highest supporters, including institutional donors and major and planned giving donors and prospects. S/he will work closely with the Chief Development Officer, the Senior Director for Marketing and Development, the Office of the CEO, Strategy & Impact, and the Co-Directors of the Sustainable Ecosystem Unit in growing and diversifying Fòs Feminista’s donor base by crafting high-touch stewardship of current donors to maintain and increase their support and cultivating top tier prospects who have the capacity to make large scale gifts. The Director will oversee a philanthropic team of frontline fundraisers who facilitate the cultivation of institutional, major, and planned giving donors in a way that fosters authentic connection to the work of our partner organizations and the women, girls, and gender-diverse people they reach. **Supervisory Relationship** The Director of Philanthropy and Strategic Partnerships reports to the Chief Development Officer. This role will oversee a team of institutional, major and planned giving officers and consultants. **Key Responsibilities** - Contribute to the development of an integrated fundraising and digital communications strategy that aligns with our intersectional feminist vision, including the incorporation of new models of philanthropy and gender lens investing, and work cross-functionally to advance significant fundraising opportunities for Fòs Feminista’s alliance with agility and effectiveness. - Identify high-value donor partnerships including with top government and foundation officials and high net worth individuals and investors and coordinate efforts with the Office of the CEO, Strategy & Impact to position the CEO and Deputy CEO for engagement opportunities, strategies, and solicitations, including the production of high-quality prospect research, intelligence, and other presentations and briefing materials. - Support the cultivation of new opportunities with institutional and governmental funders in alignment with Fòs Feminista’s new strategic vision to grow and diversify revenue. - Define proposal priorities for the Philanthropic Giving Area that advance Fòs Feminista’s strategic organizational priorities, in collaboration with the Office of the CEO and Sustainable Ecosystem Unit, and ensure the quality of these proposals. - Develop and coordinate the implementation of highly personalized cultivation and stewardship plans for institutional, major, and planned giving donors, collaborating with the Senior Director, Marketing and Development and the Co-Directors of the Sustainable Ecosystem Unit to create donor communications that elevate voices, priorities, and experiences from the field. - Implement a plan for consistent and robust institutional tracking of all donor-related information and metrics in the Philanthropic Giving Area through scaling up the Salesforce CRM. - Identify opportunities to increase Fòs Feminista’s visibility
