As an OTC Analyst , you will have to ensure successful customer collections based on the assigned portfolio, and proper account management according to the GL Customer Account. To properly monitor the portfolio including all document types that appear in the AR GL Customer Accounts and align them with the Service Level Agreements (SLA), Delegation of Authority (DOA) and Job Aids as defined in the role. To succeed in this role, it is essential that you have solid customer service and collections skills. You must be proactive, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and work effectively in a dynamic, results-oriented environment. Furthermore, a solid knowledge of finance and billing is desired, as well as analytical skills to resolve discrepancies and issues related to accounts receivable. ---------------------------------------------------- Key Responsibilities: • Processes new accounts, submit the Customer Statements status periodically and release Customer Orders daily based on the customer credit limit. • Directly oversee and collect payments from national and/or international accounts to mitigate risk, uncover trends, and determine and report on adverse risk exposure. • Handles credit inquiries – responds to customer credit requests, sends a credit history to another vendor if requested to. Follow up, recommend and discuss action plans with Credit Management regarding adverse situations and help develop further plans of action & next steps. • Maintain accuracy of the GL Customer Account and follow up the closing issues with our stakeholders and escalate any necessary issues to the OTC Lead. • Perform the resolution customer disputes or reconciliation by phone queue or email as the business required to clarify the final balance in the account. • Closely follow blocked orders, resulting from Credit Checking guidelines, to allow orders to flow smoothly and without delay. • Work on various departmental projects within Credit and as needed cross-functionally to maximize efficiencies & drive improved levels of performance. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance required with more than two years of accounting/receivable experience OR equivalent combination of experience and education required. • Excellent technical credit/collection knowledge. • Strong fluency of the English language. • Proficiency with MS Office and other software applications. • Excellent verbal & written communication & customer relations skills. • Ability to problem solve is key to success.
