The Opportunity As a Territory Account Manager, you are responsible for selling Nutanix’s Products and Solutions through Channel Partners and interacting directly with customers in Colombia, primarily Bogotá, Medellin, Cali, Barranquilla, and Venezuela within the Top Enterprise accounts. You will work closely with a Sales Engineer in the territory. Success in this role depends on your ability to develop new accounts and penetrate new divisions within existing accounts. Nutanix provides extensive support and tools from various departments to help you exceed sales goals. You will work closely with Directors and VPs, influencing sales team decisions and initiatives. Your Role Develop selling opportunities within partner organizations, penetrate new divisions, and establish new relationships. Schedule and attend sales appointments with prospects, with Channel Partner Representatives participating to qualify opportunities. Use a consultative approach to discuss business issues and develop formal quotes or proposals addressing customer needs. Respond to RFPs and follow up with prospects. Create account plans based on customer business needs. Build and strengthen relationships with current and potential clients. Recommend marketing strategies. Provide forecast and pipeline updates to your manager. Facilitate training opportunities for your accounts. Identify customer references for reference selling. Provide product feedback to engineering for continuous improvement. What You’ll Bring A proven track record of exceeding sales quotas over multiple years. An entrepreneurial spirit with a collaborative mindset. Ability to land new accounts and expand existing ones within your territory. Exceptional organization skills and strategic territory planning. Understanding of how technology solutions address business challenges and knowledge of the competitive landscape. Ability to communicate effectively with senior management about business challenges and Nutanix solutions. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentations. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 7 to 10 years of sales experience preferred. Expertise in technical specifications relevant to Nutanix products and services. Experience selling storage and visualization solutions. Fluency in English. Flexibility to travel 2-3 times a month.
