Role: Growth Marketing Specialist Hours: 8am - 4pm Mountain Standard Time Hourly Wage: $8 - $10 (Open to negotiation based on experience) We’re looking for a dynamic, data-driven Growth Marketer specializing in email and customer relationship management to join our fast-paced marketing team. This pivotal role will lead the charge in creating, executing, and optimizing email campaigns aimed at increasing customer engagement, lead nurturing, and ultimately driving measurable revenue growth. Responsibilities: Strategy Development: - Design, develop, and execute comprehensive email marketing strategies aligned with business objectives, including lead generation, customer retention, and revenue expansion. - Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to align messaging and optimize the entire customer journey. - Support integrated paid advertising campaigns by developing complementary email nurturing sequences. Campaign Execution: - Plan, develop, and launch targeted email campaigns including newsletters, product launches, promotions, and automated nurture sequences. - Craft persuasive, personalized, and engaging email content, subject lines, and compelling calls-to-action (CTAs). - Coordinate with copywriters and designers to ensure consistent, brand-aligned communication. - Ensure emails are mobile-responsive, accessible, and visually appealing across all devices. List Management & Segmentation: - Actively manage and grow subscriber lists, ensuring data integrity, compliance with regulations (GDPR, CAN-SPAM), and proactive list hygiene practices. - Implement advanced audience segmentation based on behavior, demographics, buyer personas, and lifecycle stages to personalize messaging. Performance Analysis & Reporting: - Track, analyze, and report key email performance metrics including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, churn, and customer lifetime value (CLV). - Provide insights and actionable recommendations to continually enhance campaign effectiveness and overall marketing ROI. Automation & Tool Mastery: - Implement, manage, and optimize email marketing automation workflows in platforms such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, Klaviyo, or similar. - Leverage data analytics and reporting tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar) to drive informed, strategic decisions. A/B Testing & Rapid Optimization: - Regularly perform A/B testing (subject lines, email content, timing, layouts, etc.) to quickly identify high-performing elements. - Iterate rapidly based on test outcomes to maximize results, focusing on continuous improvement and experimentation. Requirements: - 2+ years of proven experience as a Growth Marketer, Email Marketing Specialist, or similar role. - Proficient in email marketing and automation platforms (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot). - Demonstrable experience in creating, managing, and optimizing segmented email campaigns. - Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, measure ROI, and leverage analytics to improve strategy. - Basic proficiency in HTML/CSS for email template creation or edits preferred. - Exceptional communication, writing, and copywriting skills, with a track record of crafting engaging content. - Knowledge of email deliverability best practices and regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR). - Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot CRM, etc.) and marketing automation integrations. - Understanding of broader performance marketing channels and conversion rate optimization (CRO) techniques advantageous.
