Don’t get stuck — get curious and collaborate. - **Keep it simple and take action.** Instead of overthinking or avoiding difficult problems, we make decisions and act. **How you’ll spend your time** - 40% Publishing edited and optimized content in WP and Shopify - 40% Assisting senior SEOs with audits, content briefs, and on-page SEO improvements - 15% Training & processes (higher at first!) - <5% Meetings on Zoom **Core Responsibilities** **1. Publishing Content in WP and Shopify** - Publishing new and updated content, closely following instructions in briefs and drafts - incorporating best practices to optimize for SEO and conversions._ **2. On-Page SEO & Content Optimization** - Following instructions and guidance from senior SEOs, making improvements to on-page SEO. Activities include internal linking, updating metadata, and formatting for improved SEO and engagement._ **3. Occasionally Writing for the DCP Blog** - Everyone on the team writes for our company blog a few times per year. You’ll be asked to write about what you do in your role, and how it contributes to client results. (You’ll have time set aside for this, and plenty of support from our editorial team!) _ **Required work experience and practical skills**: Minimum **one year** of SEO experience, including on-page and publishing content Minimum **two years** of experience working with **WordPress and/or Shopify** **Excellent English language** skills, both written and verbal Familiarity with Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, and Screaming Frog.
