The Opportunity The Project Manager is responsible for the entire project lifecycle and will be supported by functional areas. The PM manages project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring (technical and financial), risk management, communication between customer and HE, adherence to HE HSE guidelines, project close-out, and the transmission of lessons learned. How You'll Make An Impact Collaborate with the commercial operations team to ensure all customer and order information is complete and accurate. Review and audit order handoffs, contract details, payment terms, and schedules. Verify order documents and engage with the commercial team during project close-out. Lead lessons learned meetings with operations, sales, and engineering teams. Review and confirm service sales order documentation in Hitachi Energy (HE) ERP system (SAP). Verify field service completion dates in the scheduling tool. Facilitate communication between commercial and operations teams to support Accounts Receivable (AR) reduction. Manage and guide the commercial and project management teams to ensure timely payments for current and future sales orders. Collaborate with finance and global business services to maintain and reduce overdue payments. For service sales orders with parts, confirm product schedules, shipments, and on-time delivery of materials. Manage backlog of assigned orders, properly phase delivery/invoicing dates in SAP, report revenue forecasts and deviations, and manage costs and margins. Share lessons learned, report deviations and best practices, and support project documentation and customer communication. Communicate with customers regarding shipping, delivery, scheduling, and project updates. Verify order and project documentation, confirm scope of supply, and initiate invoicing. Review AR backlog, manage AR processes, resolve disputes, and confirm collection of payments. Send and follow-up on customer satisfaction surveys related to assigned orders.
