Complaints and Feedback Mechanism Technical Assistant Colombia Northeast Cúcuta This role supports the Complaints and Feedback Mechanism in the designated geographic area. Job Description Key Responsibilities: - Support implementation, improvement, and monitoring of community feedback mechanisms. - Contribute to community participation and accountability policies within NRC programs. - Ensure adherence to NRC policies, tools, and guidelines. - Assist with project activities according to action plans and ensure proper task execution. - Maintain knowledge of technical areas for effective team support. - Resolve daily operational issues following established procedures and standards. - Prepare status reports for management and ensure documentation. - Promote ideas to strengthen the role's functions. Specific Tasks: - Serve as focal point for receiving and managing complaints and feedback from participants and external parties. - Implement community feedback procedures according to NRC standards. - Ensure mechanism accessibility to affected populations and program participants. - Train staff, partners, and key personnel on accountability principles, data protection, and feedback mechanisms. - Provide clear information about programs and projects to communities via designated channels. - Assist program teams in implementing community feedback mechanisms to share views and concerns. - Share information on suggested changes from participants with program teams and document recommendations. - Contribute to periodic reports on feedback management, including trend analysis and improvement recommendations. - Participate in operational process improvements and promote PSEA standards. - Support Safe and Inclusive Programming in all activities. Required Qualifications: - 1 year experience as a Technical Assistant in humanitarian aid contexts. - Relevant technical knowledge and professional qualification preferred. - Experience working in complex environments. - Fluent Spanish language skills; knowledge of other languages is a plus. - Studies in social sciences, anthropology, or related fields; recent graduates or final semester students. - Experience managing feedback and complaints systems in development, social, or humanitarian projects. - Knowledge of humanitarian standards, gender policies, and protection concepts. - Strong interpersonal, organizational, and confidentiality skills. - Proficiency in MS Office, databases, and internet tools. - Ability to analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources. - Knowledge of results-based management methodology. Employment Details: The employment contract will be under Colombian labor law, with a monthly salary based on the specific vacancy grade.
