Job Description SO/ Sotogrande, a luxury hotel brand, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Supervisor to join our team in Sotogrande, Spain. The Finance Supervisor will oversee the financial operations of the property, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with local regulations. Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger maintenance. Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts. Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor budgets, identifying cost-saving and revenue-enhancing opportunities. Ensure compliance with Spanish tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity. Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Coordinate with external auditors during audits and reviews. Analyze financial data to provide insights and strategic recommendations to senior management. Oversee cash management and banking relationships. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. 2-4 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in hospitality. Previous supervisory experience in finance roles. Professional accounting certification (CPA, ACCA) preferred. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Leadership skills with the ability to develop team members. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail and high accuracy in financial reporting. Knowledge of Spanish tax laws and regulations. Understanding of hospitality industry financial practices.
