**Product Designer** Symphonic Distribution is a 100% independent music distribution and marketing company headquartered in downtown Tampa, FL, and with offices around the globe including Brooklyn, Nashville and Bogota. The **Product Designer** will work full time out of our **Bogota, Colombia** location and will come with some really cool perks as well as ensuring that as an individual you have the proper work/life balance. **In a Nutshell //** The **Product Designer** will be responsible for designing high quality products to empower clients and solve problems. This role covers both UI and UX skill sets and includes visual design, interaction design, and overall user experience design. The product designer collaborates closely with Product Managers to ensure our products meet usability criteria, add value, and deliver on objectives. **What you will do //** - Collaborate with product managers to conceptualize and design new features - Build wireframes, high fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes - Keep an organized file of your designs with markups and comments - Conduct usability tests: gather user, stakeholder, and developer feedback to refine designs - Work with developers to ensure components are built according to design specifications - Improve and extend our design system, while redesigning older pages to follow - Complete interactive design features and graphics that are in line with our corporate brand. **What you need to have //** - Strong portfolio of design work - Expertise in Figma - Attention to detail and instinct for simple solutions - Familiarity with HTML and CSS - Focus on usability for both novices and power users - Strong visual, verbal, and written communication skills - Comfort working with a distributed, agile team **What else will be helpful in this role //** - Experience working on a product software team - Experience designing data visualizations with programs such as Tableau - Experience with responsive design or designing for mobile - Love for music **Additional Insights //** - This position reports directly to the **Vice President of Product** **About Symphonic Distribution //
