Responsibilities Strategic Direction & Data Leadership Develop a high-level data and analytics roadmap aligned with agency goals, with phased implementation to scale with maturity. Partner with a small group of cross-functional leaders (e.g., Marketing, IT, Client Strategy, Web Development) to identify high-impact use cases and prioritize analytics initiatives, and validate opportunities through A/B testing and other experiments. Translate early insights into clear, digestible narratives to demonstrate the value of data for key stakeholders. Begin to foster data literacy through informal enablement (e.g., onboarding training, lunch & learns, data demos, templates). Data Analysis & Reporting (Hands-On Focus) Implement and configure tracking using tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, BigQuery or Adobe Analytics. Build and maintain core dashboards and reports (e.g., client performance, campaign analytics, internal KPIs) using tools like Looker, Data Studio, PowerBI or Tableau. Define basic data visualization standards and build a scalable reporting framework that others can adopt over time. Work with teams to ensure data accuracy, timeliness, and clarity in all reporting outputs. Data Governance & Management (Foundational Setup) Create and document initial data governance policies (naming conventions, taxonomy, access controls). Collaborate with IT/security to ensure GDPR/CCPA alignment, particularly for client-facing data use. Act as the steward of core datasets, ensuring their integrity and usability across teams. Cross-Functional & Client Support Act as the analytics consultant on key client accounts and internal initiatives, providing insights that inform strategy and execution. Support sales and client teams with analytics inputs for RFPs and project scoping. Create reusable templates and data frameworks to support repeatability across similar projects. AI/ML & Advanced Analytics (Exploratory Stage) Monitor emerging AI/ML trends and assess low-lift opportunities for experimentation (e.g., predictive campaign performance, simple classification models). Set realistic expectations and advocate for responsible AI use as capabilities evolve. Begin building the case for future investment in scalable ML tools and talent. Operational Setup & Scaling Strategy Automate and scale operational tasks using APIs. Create and manage a prioritized backlog of analytics needs across the org. Identify gaps in tooling, data infrastructure, and talent; propose scaling plans as adoption grows. Work closely with leadership to define a hiring roadmap or cross-functional resourcing model. Vendor & Platform Evaluation (As Needed) Recommend analytics tools or enhancements that align with organizational needs and scale. Collaborate with procurement or IT to manage tool licensing, contracts, and vendor relationships. Requirements 8+ years of experience in digital analytics, data strategy, or performance marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership or director-level role Proven experience working within or alongside marketing technology platforms (CRM, CDPs, DMPs) Ideal experience with hospitality industry dynamics, including e-Commerce, guest acquisition, retention, and loyalty programs or experience at Marketing Agencies. Strong command of web, mobile, and cross-channel analytics tools, such as GA4 , Adobe Analytics, or Mixpanel Experience with Google Tag Manager, server-side tracking and dataLayer implementations Proficiency in SQL and data visualization platforms like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker Strategic thinker with ability to connect data insights to marketing performance and business outcomes Excellent understanding of attribution models, A/B testing, and performance optimization Capable of managing complex data ecosystems across CRM, paid media, web, and booking engines Strong leadership and project management skills - able to guide both technical and non-technical teams Ability to communicate complex analytics insights in a clear and compelling way to stakeholders at all levels Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) required This is an On-site position at our Bogotá Office .
