Role Description The Junior Delivery Engineer provides foundational support in maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing basic platform/tooling, and assisting in infrastructure automation. This entry-level role is ideal for someone early in their DevOps journey eager to learn and contribute within a collaborative, Agile team. The Junior Engineer will work under supervision, gaining hands-on experience with cloud platforms, containerization technologies like Docker, and continuous integration workflows. Key Responsibilities Assist in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment processes. Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and problem resolution. Take ownership of work, ensuring quality and maintainability. Document processes and improve visibility through SOPs and diagrams. Engage in platform modernization and DevEx initiatives. Understand and advocate for non-functional requirements like monitoring, logging, and alerting. Requirements 0–2 years of experience in DevOps, Platform, or Delivery Engineering. Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure concepts via internships, projects, or roles. Familiarity with SDLC and version control practices. Basic knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform. Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins. Introductory understanding of Docker and containerized environments. Support skills, including customer-facing communication. Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash, YAML) and automation practices. Practical Linux troubleshooting skills. Awareness of cloud principles (AWS, GCP, OCI) and security basics. Familiarity with observability tools like Grafana or Prometheus.
