Visit our website to learn more about our commitment and recent actions taken toward building and nurturing a diverse and inclusive environment. **Andean Region Program Coordinator** The Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE), a global network of organizations that propel entrepreneurship in emerging markets, is looking for a Senior Andean Program Coordinator covering programming across Andean countries and based in ANDE’s Bogotá City office. **About ANDE** The Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE), a program of the Aspen Institute, is a global network of organizations that propel entrepreneurship in developing economies. ANDE members provide critical financial, educational, and business support services to small and growing businesses (SGBs) based on the conviction that SCBs will create jobs, stimulate long-term economic growth, and produce environmental and social benefits. Ultimately, ANDE believes that SGBs can help lift countries out of poverty. **Position Description** The Andean Program Coordinator is a vital member of the Andean Chapter team. The purpose of the role is to provide support in day-to-day activities and also to provide ideas to enrich the chapter, therefore the program coordinator must understand and share ANDE’s purpose and the specific goals of the chapter. Day to day work involves a wide variety of tasks from membership communication to database updates, topic area research and event preparation. Each day will be different, but this role will provide exposure to a wide variety of experience and topic areas throughout the small and growing business space in developing countries in Latin America as well as through network opportunities globally. This role will be based in the Bogotá office and will provide an opportunity to perfect a wide variety of skills including time management, prioritization, public speaking, event management and logistics, support and communications. **Key Duties and Responsibilities** - Lead specific project initiatives, such as Learning Labs or working groups, from conception to implementation - Build relationships with members and facilitate connections within the network - Organize meetings and networking events for members, as well as topic area webinars - Manage administrative tasks - Support on the communications strategy and all communication tasks of the Chapter (newsletter, website, invites, etc.) - The work routine involves a mix of in-office hours, work from home and external events. Flexible hours and remote work to enable communications with our international staff and members in other time zones is often needed **Background and Experience** - Has 3-5 years’ experience working in a similar role and has experience in the entrepreneurial sector - Has the flexibility to be both highly self-directed and collaborative - Is organized, goal-oriented and excels at handling multiple priorities at once - Enjoys supporting our team and our members for the goal of building a robust entrepreneurial ecosystem in developing countries to help alleviate poverty - Able to travel up to 15% of the time within the region and within Colombia - Is fluent in both English and Spanish - Special knowledge about Gender, employability and climate action is preferred **Application Instructions - please** submit a cover letter, salary expectations, and resume through the online portal.
