As a supply planner, you will play a key role in managing requirements with supply sources (including purchased finished goods and/or outsourced manufacturing), working closely with the manufacturing planner, to determine the best way to resolve supply constraints at 3M plants, working closely with Demand Planners, managing the optimization and maintenance of safety stocks to provide the desired balance between stock and service; collaborating and sharing inventory and service curves with served businesses (customers) (locally and in other regions) to ensure desired service levels are defined; define other supply planning parameters working with the Supply Planning Specialist as appropriate in the specific division. The division to manage is: Electrical Tapes for South America region. In this role, the hired will be responsible for managing replenishments across the finished goods network to meet required service levels while minimizing inventory. Also responsible for global net requirements communicated to 3M supply sources, the role collaborates with business, customer service, logistics, warehouses, purchasing, quality and manufacturing. Your main challenge is to ensure the constant supply of all the products assigned to you in the aforementioned divisions. The impact you will make in this role: Manages manufacturing purchasing requirements for a large plant or a division to support customer requirements. Selects suppliers from approved 3M list. Uses Replenishment tools to ensure appropriate levels of inventory, optimize transportation costs and maintain business required flexibility. Is the expert on interfaces between plant purchasing systems and DC purchasing systems. Improves business results by providing analysis and data interpretation to assist in the improvement of supply chain processes. Promotes supply chain thinking and optimization for existing and new supply chain processes which may include LATAM and transnational processes. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering, Project Management or related. Minimum 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Transportation & Logistics, Customer Service (LATAM experience is desired) English Level B1-B2+ Working knowledge of Excel, PowerBi, AS400.
