Title: Marketing Communications Intern Location: Bogota, Colombia / Remote Hiring Manager: Alice Zieska About the Role: As a MarComm Intern, you will play a critical support role with responsibility for preparing and executing key marketing campaigns. A core focus will be learning and managing email, push, SMS, and app channels helping maximize KPIs. In addition to execution, as a content marketer, you will help to build content to support channel optimization, persona identification, segmentation and analytics via all channels. To achieve these goals, you will engage with varying members across the marketing department. The primary aim for this role is to help create relevant, customized and personalized content for our Sezzle consumers and merchants, to maximize revenue and engagement. In the process, you will also be looking for a variety of ways to increase engagement with Sezzle and our merchant partners. In addition, you will be responsible for some content marketing and strategy—elevating current holistic campaigns, copywriting, automations, merchant curation, data/analytics, etc. In the Sezzle universe, work is extremely fast-paced. Responsibilities: Assist with day-to-day asset production flow including, but not limited to, asset & CRM build, quality assurance, approvals, deployment, communication with internal and external stakeholders, and analytics reporting. - Assist with recommendations on optimizing future campaigns through performance reports. - Support day-to-day operations keeping all marketing initiatives up to date. - Assist with marketing communication builds within our CRM platform (Braze). - Manage the compliance and legal approval of assets both internally and externally. - Identify potential project risks and provide recommendations for mitigating them efficiently. - Maintain and organize project documentation, including meeting notes, schedules, reports, and all final assets. - Assist client and sales teams with in-app promotional set up and reporting. - Initiate data pulls and manage analytics surrounding varying campaigns. Ideal Skills & Experience: - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Attention to detail is a must. There are plenty of moving parts within this role. - Basic project management skills. - Basic creative design skill and knowledge in Figma is preferred. - Experience in copywriting short and engaging messages. - Experience leveraging data inputs to create segments, design tests, execute reporting and provide insights. - Database marketing experience is a plus. - Prior experience with Braze is preferred. - Additional experience working with email, push notifications, in-app push notifications, MSS, eCommerce or digital marketing is preferred.
