Overview As aSenior Automation Quality Engineer, you’ll be at the heart ofdelivering top-notch software solutions, driving quality andfunctionality through automated functional testing. In this role,you’ll collaborate closely with a dynamic team to design, execute,and report on automated test cases, ensuring that systems alignwith business requirements and exceed client expectations. Responsibilities Your Impact: - Develop and maintain custom scriptsto automate testing processes across the organization, particularlyAPI testing, to ensure seamless system integrations. - Work withclients and teams to understand their process workflows andidentify opportunities for automation, particularly in areas whereAPI testing plays a critical role. - Design, implement, and testnew automation solutions to ensure they meet business requirements. Maintain and improve existing automation solutions, keeping themup-to-date with changes in technology, business processes, andevolving API standards. - Monitor automated processes to ensurethey are running smoothly and take corrective action whennecessary. - Generate reports on the performance of automatedprocesses and make recommendations for improvements. - Keep abreastof new developments in automation technology and suggest ways toincorporate them into the organization’s systems. - Assist in thedevelopment of training materials and provide support to users ofautomated systems. - Write technical documentation for automationsolutions. - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and bestpractices in process automation. Qualifications Your Skills andExperience: - Strong experience in developing automation testingscripts, particularly for API testing. - Proficient inJavaScript/Java and Cucumber/Selenium for automation and testingpurposes. - Knowledge and experience in API performance testing,including using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Postman. -Deep understanding and exposure to DevOps environments and CI/CDprocesses. - Experience working with a range of applicationarchitectures, including Windows, Web, Mobile, and APIs. - Provenexperience in defect raising, tracking, management, and retestingusing recognized tools. - Ability to work under pressure and meetdeadlines without compromising quality. - Experience testing withinan Agile methodology, particularly in functional testing. -Demonstrated ability in stakeholder management and communication. -Strong communication skills with the ability to summarize complexinformation concisely and objectively. - Highly organized with theability to manage multiple deliverables efficiently. - Flexibilityin approach to tasks, with the ability to adapt to changingpriorities and demands. - Ability to coordinate across multipleapplications and test teams.
