Assistant Security Manager The Four Seasons Hotel Bogota seeks an Assistant Security Manager who shares our passion for excellence and is enthusiastic about creating the ultimate service experience. The Assistant Security Manager is responsible for service to our guests, the security and safety of all hotel guests and employees, and property loss prevention. As an Assistant Security Manager, is responsible for directing and coordinating the activities of security personnel, interacting with guests, coordinating with government and local law enforcement, and organizing patrolling of the property to deliver a safe guest and staff experience. Responsibilities include to: • Supervise that all security agents are complying with their schedules as established in the schedule. • Prepare reports on news related to personnel. • Support in emergency situations and accompany guests or team members to local authorities /hospital if required. • Prepare hand over reports from shift to shift. • Assist Guest relations with information asked by guests, be proactive in guest contact and show interest in guest concerns. • Ensure proper key control is followed at all times and entries are made each time a key is withdrawn or deposited. • Monitor the different areas of the hotel on CCTV, noting any suspicious actions. • Knowledgeable of all security policies, procedure and set standards. • Ensure that a security officer is present when any office is opened or stocks are taken from the stores after office hours. • Make sure that, no suspicious person goes to the guests floors. • Assist the manager on duty in the event that immediate assistance is required. • Make security rounds of the guest floors at regular intervals with notes made in security book. • Make security rounds in the car parking areas and ensure the general safety of all vehicle and if they are correctly parked. • Perform all duty and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve overall objectives of this position. • Understand and strictly adhere to the rules in the hotel’s policy on fire, Hygiene, health and Safety. • Check that the Security Agents are properly completing all the forms required for the service. •Keep control and monitoring of the Lost & Found of both properties and organize monthly deliveries. • Support the Security Manager in investigations for losses, thefts and other developments that may arise in the guest rooms. • Monitor that the information of "sites", VIP visits, groups, entry of contractors and others is complete, clear, and that it is transmitted by each shift of the security teams. • Immediately report to the Security Manager any situation that puts the safety and/or integrity of employees, guests, contractors and suppliers at risk. • Support the Security Manager in training, talks and training given to the security team or hotel officials. •Control the keys, the lock system, the alarm system and the fire protection system. •Respond adequately in any emergency or hotel security situation. •Carry out other tasks or projects assigned by hotel management and staff. • Execute all the tasks of a security officer. Preferred Qualifications and Skills: Experience is required between 3 to 5 years in physical security, Health and Safety at work and with a high capacity for supervision or hospitality management. Experience in CPR, first aid, fire fighting, and crowd control.
