About The Position We are looking for a Mulesoft developer to join our team in Medellín, Colombia. The ideal candidate will be pivotal in building API-led integrations using the MuleSoft platform and related third-party systems, such as electronic health records. Given our regular application updates, this position requires a commitment to efficient, high-quality delivery. What You'll Do Lead the design and development of MuleSoft applications, ensuring they meet business needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Maintain high standards of software quality by establishing good practices and habits. Participate in peer reviews of solution designs and code. Support deployment of releases. Design and architect comprehensive integration solutions for seamless data migration between clients' EHR systems and our platform. Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including integration points and configurations. Create reusable integration flows and scalable architectures for multiple clients using the same EHR product. Contribute to continuous improvement of MuleSoft and cloud-based tools and processes. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation. Participate in project and department meetings. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications 3-5 years of experience with MuleSoft, Data Migration, and Data Warehouse implementation. Preferred MuleSoft certifications, such as MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 1 and 2 or MuleSoft Certified Platform/Integration Architect. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Proven hands-on experience in MuleSoft API development and management. Knowledge of the MuleSoft Anypoint platform, design patterns, API-led connectivity, and error handling. Proficiency in relevant software development languages and tools. Experience with Agile methodologies. Familiarity with integration tools and technologies like REST API, Web Services, XML, HL7, and JSON. Understanding of testing methodologies in software development. Deep knowledge of MuleSoft platform capabilities and best practices. Experience working with geographically distributed teams. Experience deploying mapping services and managing credentials via AWS Secrets Manager. Previous experience with healthcare system integrations.
