About the Role The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining effective credit procedures across the hotel, in line with local and corporate policies. This is a key position that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You will be working closely with various departments to ensure smooth operations and high-quality service delivery. - Establish and maintain local credit procedures regarding invoicing, credit cards, collections, inquiries, and check payments, and prepare monthly and yearly end-of-month and end-of-year reports in accordance with established corporate guidelines. - Ensure all guest or company credit card inquiries are handled promptly (same day if possible) and professionally. - Guarantee timely and accurate billing of all accounts and follow-up on collection promptly. - Maintain credit histories, original approved credit requests written by employees and other records for regular hotel accounts. - Ensure the check-in/check-out procedure protects the hotel adequately without any load or delay for hotel guests. - Develop and maintain relationships with regular clients to encourage communication and assist in collection. - Prepare and conduct a monthly credit meeting. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: Professional degree in business administration, tourism, or related field (desired), or 2 years of equivalent experience in the role. Minimum 3 years of experience in the hospitality industry in similar roles or as front desk supervisor, night auditor.
