This role is for someone who thrives on filming, editing, and producing content independently and understands how to turn everyday work moments into highly engaging video content. If you’re a natural content creator who already makes engaging videos for social media and can work solo to film, edit, and optimize footage—this is for you. Responsibilities Capture real, unscripted “Day in the Life” footage of marketing teams in action. Scout, select, and stage filming locations to create visually compelling shots. Film and edit dynamic interviews and B-roll footage for engaging narratives. Optimize for short-form content, ensuring we can pull Reels, TikToks, and Shorts from every shoot. Repurpose long-form footage into bite-sized clips for different platforms (social, recruiting, website). Work fast and deliver quickly—limiting total revisions. Direct non-actors comfortably, making marketing professionals feel at ease on camera. Own the entire process—lighting, audio, filming, and editing—like the creative powerhouse you are. What You Bring 5+ years in video production, with at least: 3+ years of solo execution (filming, editing, audio, lighting). 2+ years of social-first content creation (must understand pacing, hooks, and audience retention). Experience capturing real professionals (not actors) in a workplace or marketing environment. A portfolio that proves you’re a one-person team—or being a team you work well with. Experience working in fast-paced environments with minimal direction. Understanding of marketing video performance—you don’t just film; you know how to make content that converts. Strong technical skills in filming, lighting, and editing. Proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or another professional editing suite. Experience with professional audio capture—clear dialogue with lapel mics. Proven experience creating content for TikTok, Reels, or YouTube Shorts. A portfolio with clear evidence of high-performing social content. An understanding of platform-native editing, retention tactics, and storytelling.
