Hiring Department The School of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology Job Description The School of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, is pleased to announce an opening for a Physician Assistant Specialty Care to join their team. This position provides medical care in the Endocrine clinic setting. It is linked with Job ID - 54515 Nurse Practitioner Specialty Care, and three roles will be filled. Responsibilities include: Providing professional medical services to patients in the endocrine clinic. Educating patients, developing treatment plans and goals, ordering diagnostic procedures, reviewing lab values, ordering labs, prescribing medications, and serving as an expert resource for patients, families, nursing staff, and other medical professionals in endocrinology. Collaborating with physicians and staff to support team-based care. Assisting providers with patient needs, explaining complex lab results, responding to messages, and participating in peer-to-peer calls. Participating in endocrine didactics with fellows. Performing other duties as assigned. Shift Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Minimum Qualifications Physician Assistant (PA) licensure by the Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in Endocrinology, especially in calcium disorders, diabetes, or metabolic bone disease, is preferred.
