Type: Hybrid | Full-time Area: Transportation Salary: From $2,700,000 COP Job Mission Manage the acquisition, negotiation, documentation, and tracking of resources required for transportation operations, ensuring unit availability, regulatory compliance, and comprehensive support for field and administrative activities related to suppliers, agencies, and insurers. Responsibilities Coordinate the acquisition of units (tractors, trailers, box trucks) and operational resources. Negotiate with transportation providers, vehicle rentals, maintenance, and technology suppliers. Coordinate and follow up on insurance contracts, DOT, plates, and permits. Monitor the maintenance and availability of units. Establish commercial relationships with staffing agencies for drivers and negotiate conditions. Keep the vehicle database, policies, renewals, and expirations updated. Support operations in special campaigns, fleet projections, and cost analysis. Prepare control reports on resources, associated costs, and logistics KPIs. Ensure compliance with current regulations (DOT, FMCSA, and state insurances). Requirements Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Administration, or related fields. 1-2 years of experience in similar logistics roles. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel. Bilingual in English and Spanish, fluent in both.
