ChampionX has an immediate need for a Sr. **Account Manager** located in Bogota, Colombia. In this position you will be leading the Reservoir Diagnosis and Production Enhancement related projects in Colombia **What’s in it For You**: - The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growth - The support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives, and ideas to achieve our best - Thrive in a company that values sustainability, drives a safety-focused culture and empowers its employees through continuous improvement **What You Will Do**: - Work closely with current and new customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain and grow sales within assigned territory - Perform technical evaluation for our customer production enhancements needs in both conventional and unconventional reservoirs including (not limited to): residual oil recovery methods (wettability alteration/IFT reduction), improving waterflood sweep efficiency (near wellbore / In-depth conformance), injectivity improvement, reservoir souring, fluid loss control, condensate banking removal, scale squeeze, schmoo removal, water shut off, sand production control, wellbore cleanout and etc. - Perform reservoir engineering analysis for given projects including injection/production data analysis, waterflood efficiency evaluation, initial reservoir screening for IOR/EOR techniques, tracer data analysis and. - Supervise the personnel, logistics, products availability and quality, and all aspects of each projects to ensure a complete and safe execution of each operation - Control and ensure all safety procedures/protocols will be fully followed ad executed - Owns and control the monthly / annual budget of the segment to achieve targeted goals - Work closely with Regional and District Managers and being fully aligned with them on organizational goals, targets, and business strategies - Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in current and new customers, including plant or facility executives. Leverage external network to pursue business opportunities within assigned territory - Generate and execute sales plans in assigned customer base and new customer accounts to meet defined territory profit increase goals - Regularly engage in Health Check (audit) of current accounts - Demonstrate strong team leadership by actively participating in District/Regional/Corporate initiatives - Collaborate in cross-functional projects within ChampionX, promoting the transfer of knowledge as well as the delivery of innovative processes and programs - Support/lead trial of new technologies and proactively show initiative by bringing ideas and new technologies to the District - Initiate and lead sales campaigns within District - Demonstrate versatility by calling on all levels of the customer organization - Lead, coach and mentor less experienced sales representatives and managers on diverse topics - Able to travel to the field (including remote fields in Colombia) supervising the operation (occasionally night shifts would be needed) - Able to keep a routine maintenance program of the equipment and pumping units **Minimum Qualifications**: - Bachelor’s Degree in Petroluem Engineering, Chemical Engeering or Mechanical Engineering - +7 years of successful technical sales or field sales support experience - +7 years of experience directly related to IOR/EOR, well stimulation and production enhancement techniques - Fluency in both Spanish and English languages (reading, writing and speaking) - Ability to travel (ground, air) within assigned sales territory. - Ability to travel internationally - Must have a valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record **Preferred Qualifications**: - Master degree in Petroleum, Chemical and Mechanical Engineering or higher would be a plus - Knowledge in reservoir engineering and numerical simulation is a plus - Account leadership experience that includes calling on multilevel plant or facilities management to accomplish company goals - Prior experience that demonstrates strong ethics, effective time management, ability to multitask, adaptability, autonomy and self-motivation - Prior experience that required excellent communication and organizational skills - Good negotiation and problem resolution skills - Solid technical writing skill is a plus - Working knowledge of Well Construction, Stimulation, Reservoir and Drilling Fundamentals **About ChampionX** ChampionX is a global leader in providing chemistry programs and services, drilling technology, artificial lift solutions, and automation technologies for the upstream and midstream oil and gas industry.
