This is an interface first role working in our Ruby on Rails codebase, where your primary responsibility will be building clean, responsive and accessible interfaces and experiences that empower our customers and our internal teams. Collaborating closely with our product team and pairing with a Rails engineer, you'll bring designs, features and products to life following our 6-week cycle Shape Up process. You are - You're experienced with the modern web, and you're able to write HTML, CSS, and Javascript - You may lack direct experience with Rails, but you're comfortable working alongside it to apply your designs to implemented code with oversight and feedback - You're comfortable with using design software tools like Figma to accomplish simple tasks - You have good visual taste and design sensibilities, but may sometimes require support from a senior designer - You care about creating accessible, intuitive, and visually appealing interfaces and have a high attention to these details - You are able to run and own small-batch projects (2-weeks) from concept to delivery alongside a backend engineer.
