We are seeking a Database Administrator (DBA) to install, manage, and ensure the optimal performance, maintenance, security, and integrity of the company’s various databases. The DBA will also be responsible for overseeing the proper functioning of the database backup systems, including the scheduling and monitoring of restoration and recovery activities in the event of failures and/or disasters. Key responsibilities: Use high-speed recovery techniques to ensure immediate responses for incident or request resolution. Minimize database downtime by managing parameters to ensure fast query response. Document, define, and ensure compliance with the company’s database policies, procedures, and standards. Perform regular testing and assessments to ensure the security, privacy, and integrity of the databases. Monitor database performance, implement changes, and apply version patches when required. Provide technical support to users and processes that consume the company’s various databases. Document and respond to incidents as necessary Education and Specific Training Systems Engineer, Computer Scientist, or related fields Work experience Minimum of 3 years of experience as a database administrator. Minimum of 1 year of experience in project development. Special certifications Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (preferred) Microsoft Certified Azure Database Administrator (preferred) Technical Skills English level: B1 Advanced knowledge in data backup, recovery, security, and integrity of SQL databases Knowledge of API programming languages Best practices in data management and IT security
