Responsibilities - Instruct patients on the use of recommended devices for orthodontics and dental appliances, such as dentures and retainers and educate on the importance of good oral hygiene - Issue referral for the client to dental specialists, such as pediatric dentists, orthodontists, endodontists, and periodontists when appropriate - Perform work that is in compliance with infection and infectious diseases control standards; office policies and procedures; and safety, OSHA, and MSDS guidelines - Assess the patients’ overall dental health and look for presence of dental diseases, by thoroughly examining the patients’ teeth using diagnostic tools, procedures, and instruments - Determine and diagnose oral diseases and provide appropriate treatment for common dental problems including root canals, surgical extractions, cleanings, and restoration Qualifications - Years of experience working with restorative cases & surgical procedures - Board Certified and/or Board Eligible in Dentistry - Computer proficiency is desired - Requires CPR, BLS, and NPI certifications - Current and unrestricted state license in good standing - Possess strong bedside manner, and great communication skills Compensation $400,000 yearly About Oakpoint - Columbia Our modern and updated facility uses state-of-the-art technology and our approach to patient care ensures client safety and satisfaction. #J-18808-Ljbffr
