From initial technical discovery to building customized solutions, live demos, and integration deep-dives — you'll be critical in helping us win new business and ensuring a smooth handoff to post-sales and implementation teams. This role is high-impact and execution-focused, laying the groundwork for our future Sales Engineering team by shaping processes, playbooks, and technical sales assets. Responsibilities - Lead all technical pre-sales conversations with prospective clients across Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Argentina, and Chile. - Own and refine the technical discovery process: structure how we gather and document client technical requirements (payments, fraud, providers, integration needs, etc.). - Develop and maintain technical assets: create pre-sales decks, live demo environments, integration comparisons (API, SDK, Widget), documentation, and best practices. - Stay connected with Product and Engineering teams to understand new features and update pre-sales materials accordingly. - Conduct live product demonstrations tailored to client needs. - Support RFPs and technical evaluations, ensuring responses are technically robust. - Collaborate across teams to support client questions, RFPs, and technical solutions. - Educate clients on payment ecosystem nuances per country. - Design scalable, customized payment solutions with the Sales team. - Lay the foundation to build and lead a high-performing Sales Engineering team. Requirements - 5+ years in Sales Engineering / Pre-Sales roles within Payments, Fintech, or eCommerce platforms. - Deep understanding of the online payments ecosystem in Latin America, especially Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Argentina, and Chile. - Strong technical knowledge: APIs, SDKs, embedded solutions, fraud prevention, routing, tokenization, 3DS, etc. - Curiosity and proactive learning of new products and technologies. - Resilience and professionalism in cross-team collaboration. - Hands-on mentality: capable of building tools, demos, and processes. - Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English. - Experience in high-growth startups or fintech is a plus. - Leadership ambition for future growth into a Sales Engineering leadership role.
