Job Title: Revenue Cycle Manager (Anesthesia Billing) Location: Remote Industry: Healthcare – Anesthesia Services About the Role Our company is seeking a Revenue Cycle Management Specialist to lead and optimize their end-to-end billing operations. This role is critical to ensuring accurate billing, strong collections, and operational efficiency across the revenue cycle. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in anesthesia billing and a strong command of coding compliance, AR follow-up, and claims workflows. Key Responsibilities - Manage the full revenue cycle, from charge capture through collections, ensuring timely, compliant, and accurate billing processes. - Supervise coding workflows to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with payer guidelines and compliance standards. - Direct claims submission, denial resolution, and payment posting to maximize reimbursement and minimize delays. - Monitor Accounts Receivable (AR) performance, flag issues, and implement strategies to maintain a healthy cash flow. - Ensure regulatory compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and payer-specific requirements, maintaining best practices and documentation standards. - Provide clear and insightful reports on revenue cycle KPIs (e.g., DSO, denial rates, cash collections), highlighting trends and opportunities for optimization. - Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and revenue recovery. - Collaborate with finance, clinical, and administrative teams to align revenue cycle activities with broader business goals. - A bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in revenue cycle management, preferably within an anesthesia or surgical services environment. - Strong knowledge of medical billing and coding practices, including familiarity with time-based charges and compliance standards. - Proficiency in revenue cycle management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
