Involves the completion of administrative tasks and coordination related to front-line operations, including data entry, ramp activities, sort activities, trace activities, dispatch activities, and local customer service. While operational tasks may be part of these roles, most time is spent on office-based activities. General Job Description: - Provide support and offer FedEx products and services to customers to achieve sales objectives, develop frequent customers, and manage credit. - Perform a variety of over-the-counter customer service, administrative, and clerical duties requiring direct and indirect customer interaction. - Assist customers by tracing packages, answering questions about FedEx products and services, and providing over-the-counter and phone services. - Check packages for proper labeling, content legality, weight and size, wrapping, insurance, hazardous material requirements, and customs documentation compliance. - Support budget management, income/expenses, and optimize branch profitability through resource management. - Handle opening and closing of the branch, maintain cleanliness, check furniture and supplies, and respect customer service times. - Identify new customers or additional business opportunities, offer suitable services, open new accounts, and generate sales leads. - Deliver excellent customer experience by providing effective solutions to customer problems. - Follow commercial and administrative processes, communicate with involved areas, and safeguard company values within the WSC. - Request supplies for daily documentation and shipment packaging. - Principal responsibilities include the most important or frequent duties. Minimum Requirements: Education: High School degree or equivalent. Language: Proficiency in English. Experience: At least 2 years in customer service focused on sales, knowledge in cash and value management, and prior experience in a FedEx SCS Warehouse with understanding of operations and customer requirements. Skills: Ability to lift 75 lbs/34 kg, maneuver packages up to 150 lbs/68 kg with equipment, attention to detail, planning, interpersonal, problem-solving, task coordination, interpretation skills, technology proficiency, office skills, communication skills, and a neat appearance.
