Our business is made up of diverse, highly skilled people who enable our customers and their businesses by matching the right solutions to their technology needs. **What you'll do** Reviewing the Building Management System for alerts and negative trends as well physical inspection of equipment both in relation to computing and the facility´s infrastructure - Provide operational management of the data centre facility to ensure the infrastructure can support meets the long term business vision - Analyse and plan for continuous improvements to the power, cooling, ventilation and other environmental aspects of the facility. - Contribute to the growth of the company through new ideas and ensuring all facilities provide the capabilities for workers to meet their OKRs. - Create standards for design and implementation of server room expansion - Provide best practice procedures and policies for maintenance of the facilities. - Carry out annual or semi-annual reviews of the data centre to ensure compliance with best practices. - Evaluate service level agreements (internal and external) to ensure standards are being met and satisfaction is high. - Ensure onsite staff have the support and tools to succeed at their roles. - Establish and review performance metrics. - Stay current with new technologies and tools to maintain top tier facilities. - Provide out of business hours support if and when required to ensure continual data centre operations. **What you'll bring** - Good technical skills datacenter management methodologies and best practice. - Demonstrates an applied understanding of standard processes and procedures for preparing, installing, performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, replacing, and/or decommissioning equipment. - Experience supporting IT equipment or related technology. - Complies with Data Center Services (DCS) business unit and service-level policies, procedures, and deadlines. - Experience working in a production, mission-critical 24x7x365 datacenter environment. - Applicable certifications: CompTIA (A+, Server+, Network+), Basic Structure Cabling (BSC). - Proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks. - Must demonstrate the ability to maintain strict confidentiality of the company’s internal and personnel affairs. - Proven line management experience. - Excellent verbal communication and writing skills. - Daily on-site attendance. **What's in it for you** - Inspiring and fulfilling work at the innovative, value-driven global company that uses cutting-edge tech. - International, friendly and inclusive multi-cultural environment (over 35 nationalities that speak altogether almost 30 languages!). - An attractive salary, a self-managed learning budget and personal growth opportunities. - A range of events throughout the year, including Learning Labs, Hackathons and Designathons. - Gym membership discount. - The opportunity to take up to three paid volunteering days each year. - A sabbatical program, which offers the opportunity to take one period of six weeks (30 working days) paid leave every for 4 years of service at The Workshop. - 15 days of annual leave plus 18 Bank Holidays. **Our values** We understand that great ideas come from great people, and great people thrive when they’re trusted to challenge, change, improve, and perfect our products and processes.
