**Mid Full Stack Engineer (RoR/React)** **Responsibilities** - Responsible for full stack development using React and Ruby on Rails. - Emphasis and primary strength on backend Ruby on Rails skills. - Participating in the design, documentation, and creation of scalable and secure software. - Willingness to work with low-code, API and event driven system optimization. - Must have the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. - Ability to work autonomously and communicate well with key program stakeholders. - Proficient English and communications skills required. - Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. **Technical Requirements** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience). - 3+ years of programming experience using Ruby on Rails (Required, Backend Heavy). - 2+ years of React frontend development (or 1+ years React and 1+ years Angular/Ember). - 2+ years of experience with modern JavaScript such as E6, ES7 and Typescript. - Experience with working with PostgreSQL database. - Experience using Google Tag Manager. - Understanding of accessibility and security compliance. - Experience with RESTful Web Services, APIs, and asynchronous data flow. - Write unit, integration, and functional test for Rails. - Demonstrated ability to work with clients, UI/UX design and back-end developers. - Experience with Git/GitHub version control. **Bonus Skills** - Optimizely A/B testing experience. - Prior experience with Apollo and GraphQL. - Cloud development experience with AWS, Azure and/or Google Cloud. - Familiarity with modern architectural modalities such as microservices, serverless, JAMstack, event-based, pub/sub, and data streaming. - Container experience with Docker/Kubernetes. - Demonstrated experience with bringing multiple products to market.
