The ideal candidate will have experience working on a wide range of employment issues, including wage and hour class/PAGA actions and single plaintiff discrimination/harassment matters. They will also have experience drafting and reviewing employment policies and related documents, as well as working on labor and employment aspects of business transactions. Prior experience with traditional labor relations is a plus, but not required. Key Responsibilities: - Work on a variety of labor, employment, and workplace safety matters, including wage and hour class/PAGA actions, single plaintiff discrimination/harassment matters, and traditional labor relations. - Draft and review employment policies and related documents, such as offer letters, employment agreements, and separation agreements. - Assist with the labor and employment aspects of business transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions. - Work closely with experienced lawyers who will provide active mentoring and opportunities for professional growth. - Provide the highest quality client service, working independently and as part of a team. - Strong academic credentials and excellent communication skills. - Admitted to the California Bar. Qualifications: - 4-7 years of litigation experience with a strong background in employment law. - Experience working on wage and hour class/PAGA actions and single plaintiff discrimination/harassment matters. - Experience drafting and reviewing employment policies and related documents. - Experience working on labor and employment aspects of business transactions. - Prior experience with traditional labor relations is a plus, but not required. - Strong academic credentials and excellent communication skills. - Admitted to the California Bar. Compensation: - Base compensation of $210,000 - $365,000 per year. - Salary will be determined during the interview process and may vary based on factors such as prior experience, relevant expertise, and market factors.
