The incumbent will create shippable code early, and often, based on the priorities for any given iteration, end user needs and feedback. Collaborating with team members, they utilize agile best practices and metrics to build high quality technology solutions in line with product’s vision. You will be expected to learn Pega development skills in an intense training program and become Pega CSA certified within 4 months of hire. **_ -**: **_ Accountabilities_**: - Iteratively develop, test, deploy, maintain and enhance high quality BPM software solutions - Promote the reuse of components, and BPM Architecture, platform best practices and standard enterprise frameworks and guidelines - Contribute clear and maintainable code to a shared codebase - Participate in estimating, tasking, status and stand-up meetings in agile work ceremonies - Adopt / evolve team development practices such as coding standards, formal refactoring techniques, automated testing, continuous integration, etc. - Partner with, welcome input and provide feedback to team members in order to build in a continuous improvement mindset - Seek and integrate feedback from Product Owner to deliver optimal solutions - Collective ownership of project delivery, As a member of full-stack team, be accountable for delivery as well as support for production issues if called upon. **Education / Experience** - 3+ years of experience in information technology, developing and supporting Java centric enterprise solutions for finance services companies (either as direct employee or through vendors/contractors). - Assess and analyze technology options to evaluate BPM/ business process management - Platforms that meet business needs (ie. IBM Lombardi, Bonitasoft, Oracle BPM, BizAgi, Ultimus). - Strong Java (J2EE - JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, NodeJS), - OS experience in Unix/Linux shell skills. - Experience in Websphere or Weblogic Application Server are a plus - SQL Databases and related security model (DB2 a plus) - Understanding and experience with Spring Framework - Experience with API management and developing microservices - Solid understanding of DevOps for deployment and Git/Bitbucket repositories. - Strong understanding of cloud concepts and development practices (Continuous integration and Containers Dockers/Kubernetes). - A positive attitude and a reliable, self-motivated, team player with excellent communication, problem-solving and analytical skills. - Previous production support experience. Incident/ Problem life cycle management, reporting problem, triage issue, and closure of issues. - Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or technical equivalent - Good to have: experience with rule engines (ie.
