If you like technology, have a good eye for creative and a solid head for user experience design, and love to both to work in the actual build process of WordPress websites, this is your new team. **Responsibilities** - Constantly evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends and best practices that can be used to strengthen wedü’s development practices. - Collaboration between our internal teams and work in an agile manner to achieve the best outcomes. - Work with stakeholders to create websites, landing pages, and other HTML/CSS assets - Develop and maintain client websites - Embrace and promote best practices in order to create maintainable, high-performing websites, and codebases - Work within an agile process to ensure best definition and delivery of scoped requirements are met, along with meeting project budgets. **Required Skills & Experience**: - Ability to communicate with users and stakeholders at all levels (internal and external), strong problem-solving skills, proactive energy, pride in ownership, and drive to keep commitments - Experience working with designers cutting up layouts to implement pixel perfect pages, and using UX design tools for improved technical development of designs - Ability to test and debug code in the development and browser environments - Expert understanding of web technologies (e.g., JavaScript, Jquery, HTML5, CSS, SASS, etc.) and modern page layout techniques - Ability to create custom WordPress themes - Talent with leading builders or a preferred builder environment such as Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, etc. - Solid command of custom post types, advanced fields, and the ‘technical’ side of WordPress usage in heavy database usage environments **Background Expectations** - 5+ years of web development experience - Digital agency experience preferred Pay: $4,000,000 - $5,000,000 per year **Experience**: - WordPress: 5 years (required)
