Hiring Department Northern Missouri Research, Extension and Education Center - Cornett Research Farm Job Description The Northern Missouri Research, Extension and Education Center (NM-REEC) is seeking an Agriculture Associate II. This position will be located at the Cornett Research Farm in Linneus, MO. The primary purpose of this position is to assist with daily farm operations and support research efforts. Key Responsibilities Perform tasks within established guidelines for farm operations, including operation and maintenance of basic farm equipment, livestock care, and infrastructure management. Assist with calving, feeding, fertilizing, and other activities supporting research and farm operations. Maintain accurate records of farm production, livestock, and research activities. Support the farm manager in operational planning by identifying inventory, equipment, and facility needs. Assist with workshops, field days, and similar events. Share information and collaborate with coworkers and research faculty. Perform other related duties as assigned. Shift Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Occasional overtime may be required during peak seasons. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of relevant experience demonstrating comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities. Preferred Qualifications At least one year experience in beef and forage production. Proficiency in communication and record-keeping skills. Valid Driver's License; CDL preferred. Pesticide Applicator's License (private or commercial). Anticipated Hiring Range The estimated salary range is $14.80 to $25.84 per hour, depending on education, skills, experience, and organizational needs.
