With a structure on a human scale, it places the experience of its employees at the heart of all its managerial concerns. **Technical Sales Representative - Plant Nutrition** **South America** **Permanent Contract - Based in Bogota, CO.** Reporting to the Business Area Manager in Plant Nutrition - Agriculture BU, you will have to further develop Timab Magnesium’s business activity in the field of agricultural (**plant nutrition**) for the South American markets. Your main missions will be: - To define the sales strategy according to the Business Area Manager for this area - To prospect new clients and develop our existing accounts - To manage the distribution channels - To take responsibility for your area and optimize your results (margins, volume and market share) with direct sales - To guarantee the quality of our products and respect delivery deadlines to our customers - To monitor the market (competition, potential clients, raw material cost, regulations) - To insure the reporting to the Business Area Manager **Profile required**: As a graduate or higher in Agribusiness, you have a successful 3 - 5 years of experience in sales, ideally in a B-to-B environment. **A first significant experience developing new markets** in Agri/Agro products and/or familiar with trading commodities and/or technical products is preferred. You have a perfect command of Spanish, professional English, and knowledge of cultural and business practices in South America. We expect that you have a passion for **business development**, as this is a 100% hunter role. **International travel** is to be expected (30 to 50%). Able to stay long periods in the region is necessary (2-3 weeks). You are an excellent negotiator, and you are result oriented. You have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and love to take up big challenges. Your reactiveness, rigor and excellent listening capabilities will give you what it takes to meet your customers' needs.
