Position Overview Gorilla Logic is seeking a passionate senior-level backend Software Engineer to collaborate with product managers, architects, and QA teams. The role involves building high-quality, innovative, and fully performing software solutions, participating in all development lifecycle stages from design to deployment. Responsibilities Demonstrate 5-10 years of experience in backend system development, including building APIs and data integration systems. Possess solid understanding of Java, Spring Boot, micro-services, and inter-service communication technologies like Kafka and RabbitMQ. Write well-designed, testable, efficient, and documented code. Integrate software components into fully functional systems. Develop verification plans and follow QA procedures. Translate architectural diagrams into backend code. Create applications, databases, and data flows supporting product features. Design secure, performant RESTful APIs and services. Consider non-functional requirements such as security, scalability, and maintainability. Deploy and tailor software tools, processes, and metrics. Share knowledge and become a subject matter expert within the team. Tech Stack Java 11/17, Spring Boot 2/3, Kafka/RabbitMQ, Postgres, and other relational databases.
