Position Summary Hematology Franchise manager will be the critical leadership role of the Colombian Brand team, accountable for the overall brand strategy that drives successful launch and growth of the Hematology portfolio. Franchise manager, along with core brand team members, will be responsible for the development of the brand strategy and execution of tactics across all customer types and functions. Franchise manager will manage a cross-functional brand team (i.e., Commercial, Medical, VAP and WCC) and ensure seamless working of the team as a single, agile unit, to achieve brand strategic imperatives. Franchise manager will be responsible for the Brand’s fully loaded P&L; which will include budget for the cross-functional team members. This role will also be responsible for the performance management and development of all core brand team members. The Hematology Franchise manager will play a critical role in the organization, leading, coaching, and motivating a team of approximately 4 TASs (Terapeutic area specialists) to drive the adoption of BMS assigned Hematology portfolio and generate demand. The Franchise manager is accountable for coaching of TAS’s on specific learning objectives (selling skills, scientific exchange, and use of digital capabilities) and for ensuring continuous improvement in the core skills of their team. Key Responsibilities - Leads a cross-functional team across Commercial, Access, Medical, and enabling Functions for a common and compliant set of brand objectives - Accountable for fully loaded P&L; and owns decision on how the budget is used for cross-functional team resourcing/capabilities (e.g. Functional mix and capability needs, FTE v. non-FTE budget) - Drives dynamic resource allocation (i.e., ability to make a business case to adjust budget) to meet brand / DA objectives over time - Utilizes an omnichannel, personalized approach to marketing, leveraging advanced analytics, and modular content processes. - Focused in-role coaching and developing of TAS - Coach TAS on specific learning objectives (selling skills + scientific exchange + new capabilities) - ride-alongs focus on most important HCPs - Ownership for TAS learning journey and accountable for ensuring continuous improvement in core skills incl. strategic scientific dialogue - Provides input to I&A; teams on development of advanced analytics and uses them to inform/ refine brand strategies and understand brand performance - Actively participates in calibration sessions and provides input (on objectives and compliant performance feedback) to Functional Managers for performance reviews of Medical Lead (& associated teams), Access Strategy Lead (& associated teams) and Process Planner - Drives and ensures adoption of new WoW across brand team (i.e., omnichannel strategies, modular content creation, agile rituals, collaboration with PReP & agencies) Owns holistic brand strategy & imperatives across key stakeholders Franchise manager will execute objective setting process for all team members, including functional team members to ensure a cross-functional alignment of annual objectives. During the Year-End-Process, Franchise manager, provides significant input on performance reviews for Medical, VAP, & WCC team members, and actively contributes to cross-functional calibration sessions. Required Qualifications & Experience - Familiarity with range of customer journeys (HCP, Patient, Payor) - Able to deliver against commercial and broader performance objectives - Relevant management background in leading Commercial, Access, or Medical functions (i.e., does not need to have marketer background) - P&L;/ budget management experience - Fluency in analytical models (e.g., journey decisioning engine) and ability to translate analytics from I&A; teams into actionable strategies - Mastery of omnichannel strategy and modular content production - Prior experience as a manager, or equivalent experience in leading and managing high-performing teams is strongly preferred - Pharma experience is strongly preferred, including an understanding of reimbursement processes, access, and distribution environment - Fluency in English is required Key competencies desired Customer-oriented mindset - Adopts a customer-focused mindset - Deeply understands customer journeys and experiences across all customer types (HCP, Patients, Access customers) - Demonstrates ability to deliver on customer needs and optimize customer experience - Exhibits genuine care for customers Scientific expertise (nice to have) - Has deep knowledge of TA/product, clinical landscape - Understands regulatory guidelines and landscape - Has a strong learning mindset and passion for science.
