If you like a challenging environment where you’re working with the best and are encouraged to learn and experiment every day, there’s no better place - guaranteed! :) WHAT YOU WILL DO - Define and build automation frameworks for web apps using Playwright (TypeScript); - Set up and extend mobile testing using Detox (and potentially Appium); - Design and implement API regression suites using Node.js with Jest and Supertest; - Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines to run post-deployment and continuously validate core services; - Work collaboratively with developers and product to align on testing needs and strategies; - Provide technical leadership on test structure, coverage, and automation best practices; - Help onboard the team to the frameworks and hand off ownership for test maintenance. MUST HAVES - Proven 4+ years of experience working with automation testing (web, mobile, and API); - Strong proficiency with TypeScript and frameworks like Playwright, Detox, or Appium ; - Experience testing REST APIs with tools like Supertest, Jest, or Postman; - Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI); - Deep understanding of QA methodologies and Agile development workflows; - In terms of working hours: The role will mostly follow the LATAM time zone, with a required 4-hour overlap with Colorado (MDT), for Europe-based candidates, a minimum of 2-hour overlap with MDT is required — though the more overlap, the better; - Upper-Intermediate English level. NICE TO HAVES - Experience designing automation architecture from scratch; - Familiarity with BDD tools like Cucumber or CodeceptJS; - Exposure to performance testing tools or methodologies; - Background in early-stage startups or fast-paced product teams.
