That´s why at Novartis we empower you to bring your best self; we value your diversity of thought and trust your ability to make things happen. **Your responsibilities**: Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Monitor Novartis Financial Control Manual (NFCM) control environment for Colombia (IM and Sandoz) and Ecuador (Sandoz), and perform NFCM controls reviews and testing. - Support control owners to design effective remediation plans and monitor the timely implementation. - Support internal audit reviews and management with queries related to NFCM controls and NFCM governance process. - Assure the effective understanding and awareness of all critical topics related to Financial Controls for all stakeholders involved with the Internal Control Governance. - Being a trusted business partner and risk advisor for Colombia and Ecuador, supporting business transformation from the Financial Compliance perspective. - Perform trainings sessions to promote internal control culture and requirements. - Lead financial and internal control risk reviews. - Assure effective communication with local leadership and all critical stakeholders for Financial Control topics. **Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion**: - Novartis is committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse team’s representative of the patients and communities we serve._ **Minimum requirements** **What you’ll bring to the role**: - Fluent in English and Spanish. - 4+ years’ experience with Internal Control and/or Financial Audit in Big Four. - 2+ years’ experience in management position. - Accounting, Administration or Economic degree is preferred. - Ability to influence without authority and strong communication skills. **You’ll receive**: Competitive salary, annual bonus, life insurance, home office policy, flexible working arrangements, birthday day-off, maternity and paternity leave, subsidized dining facilities, health and dental insurance, employee recognition scheme, Gympass, and virtual self-development tools. **Why consider Novartis?** 766 million lives were touched by Novartis medicines in 2021, and while we’re proud of this, we know there is so much more we could do to help improve and extend people’s lives.
