We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented technology merger analyst to join our team at J.S. Held, a global consulting firm that combines technical, scientific, financial, and strategic expertise. Job Description - Screening Acquired Companies: Conduct thorough technical assessments of acquisition targets to evaluate their technology stacks, data structure, and management practices. - Technical Due Diligence: Collaborate with technical teams to perform comprehensive due diligence, identifying potential risks, opportunities, and integration challenges. - Stakeholder Communication: Establish effective communication channels between internal technical teams and business users from the newly acquired firm to ensure smooth information flow and alignment of expectations. - Data Migration Planning: Develop and implement data migration strategies, ensuring accurate and efficient transfer of data from the acquired company to our systems. - Data Template Organization: Organize and populate data templates for data migration, ensuring all relevant information is captured and correctly formatted. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex data migration projects. This role will be responsible for organizing data templates for data migration, screening acquired companies, facilitating communication between internal technical teams and business users from newly acquired firms, and conducting technical due diligence. The system analyst will play a critical role in the optimization process for each merger and acquisition, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness. Required Skills and Qualifications - Professional-level fluency in English. - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline. - Minimum of 10 years of experience with technology data migrations. - Proven experience in requirement gathering and discovery with SMEs, end-users, and stakeholders. - Ability to write SQL queries. - Strong Excel skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Keen attention to detail. - Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O; preferred. - Familiarity with finance and project-based business processes and experience working with finance and accounting teams and technologies. - A stable high-speed internet connection and quiet working environment. - Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills. - Excellent collaboration, communication skills, and technical troubleshooting abilities that will be used to analyze and resolve system problems. - Highly motivated individual – you must be proactive, enthusiastic, agile, show initiative, and be good at multitasking.
