Sales Director Opportunity We are seeking a seasoned sales leader to spearhead our regional sales strategy in Europe. About the Role: - This is a leadership position that requires experience and expertise in developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies, managing high-performing teams, and driving revenue growth across multiple markets. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead the development of a cohesive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand market share. 2. Oversee and motivate a geographically dispersed sales team, fostering collaboration and accountability across regions. 3. BUILD STRONG PARTNERSHIPS WITH KEY OEMS, TIER 1 SUPPLIERS AND DISTRIBUTORS TO DRIVE BUSINESS GROWTH. 4. Identify emerging trends and opportunities within the European automotive market, positioning the company for long-term success. 5. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, finance, and operations, to align sales efforts with business objectives. 6. Regularly analyze market data, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform strategic decision-making. 7. Pursue contracts, manage pricing, and negotiate favorable terms to maximize revenue potential. 8. Provide actionable insights and performance metrics to senior leadership on sales outcomes, KPIs, and market intelligence. Requirements: - A minimum of 10 years of sales experience in the automotive industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership or regional role. - A proven track record of driving sales growth and managing large customer accounts in complex, multi-country settings. - An in-depth understanding of the automotive supply chain, customer needs, and regional market dynamics. - Strategic thinking paired with hands-on execution capabilities. - Experience in leading multicultural teams and navigating diverse business environments. - Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Fluency in English; proficiency in additional European languages an asset. - A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent preferred.
