As a supply planner, youwill play a key role in managing requirements with supply sources(including purchased finished goods and/or outsourcedmanufacturing), working closely with the manufacturing planner, todetermine the best way to resolve supply constraints at 3M plants,managing the optimization and maintenance of safety stocks toprovide the desired balance between stock and service;collaborating and sharing inventory and service curves with servedbusinesses (customers) (locally and in other regions) to ensuredesired service levels are defined; define other supply planningparameters working with the Supply Planning Specialist asappropriate in the specific division. The division to manage is:Electrical Tapes for South America region. In this role, the hiredwill be responsible for managing replenishments across the finishedgoods network to meet required service levels while minimizinginventory. Also responsible for global net requirementscommunicated to 3M supply sources, the role collaborates withbusiness, customer service, logistics, warehouses, purchasing,quality and manufacturing. Your main challenge is to ensure theconstant supply of all the products assigned to you in theaforementioned divisions. The impact you will make in this role: 1. Manages manufacturing purchasing requirements for a large plant ora division to support customer requirements. 2. Selects suppliersfrom approved 3M list. 3. Uses Replenishment tools to ensureappropriate levels of inventory, optimize transportation costs andmaintain business required flexibility. 4. Is the expert oninterfaces between plant purchasing systems and DC purchasingsystems. 5. Improves business results by providing analysis anddata interpretation to assist in the improvement of supply chainprocesses. 6. Promotes supply chain thinking and optimization forexisting and new supply chain processes which may include LATAM andtransnational processes. Your Skills and Expertise To set you upfor success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidateswho must have the following qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree inbusiness administration, Industrial Engineering, Project Managementor related. 2. Minimum 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain,Transportation & Logistics, Customer Service (LATAM experienceis desired) 3. English Level B1-B2 4. Working knowledge of Excel,PowerBi, AS400.
